Our Process

A listing of documents we serve:

  • Summonses, complaints and subpoenas
  • Writs of possession for real estate (Evictions)
  • Injunctions
  • Levy/Writ of Attachment
  • Capias (Civil Arrest) Warrants
  • Sheriff Sales

Cases are addressed on a first-come, first-served basis or prioritized by an upcoming court date. We guarantee that we will attempt to serve your documents in a reasonable and diligent manner. Service may take longer depending on the backlog of documents received. It may take anywhere from several days to a week to process after service is completed. If you do not receive your papers back within two weeks of our office receiving them, please contact us to find out the status of your paper.

Civil Process Limited Services

The Civil Process Division has reopened for limited services due to COVID-19.

Civil Process will be serving:

  • All summons and complaints
  • Subpoenas
  • Probate services
  • Restraining orders and emergency orders issued by the courts

STAFF WILL ALSO BE RECORDING:

  • Writs of attachments & levies on real estate

CIVIL PROCESS STAFF WILL NOT BE SERVING:

  • Voluntary capias hearings or physical arrests
  • Evictions (unless issued by the court on an emergency basis)
  • Seizures on execution
  • Orders of Notice for foreclosure
